The Distillery

Founded in 2013, our artisan distillery sits on the Yorkshire Moors above the historic village of Haworth. We specialise in whisky, gin and absinthe, blending traditional methods with the character of our surroundings.
Every drop passes through Fanny, our Arnold Holstein copper column still, and is perfected with limestone water drawn from our own 1,000-foot well.

Our Story
From a Saltaire ale house to a still called Fanny
It started in 1983, a junior brewer's job at Joshua Tetley. Next came Fanny's Ale House, which went on to win Bradford CAMRA's Pub of the Year in 2010. Then I bought a hillside distillery above Haworth, and a copper still with a personality all her own.
